Proven Winners certified
Certification represents the highest level of achievement in Garden Center training. Each year only select garden centers are certified!!
Marshall Farms perennials and annuals are used by some of the finest garden and landscape designers in the Metrowest area. Many of those flowers are seen in local gardens during the Annual Concord Garden Tour! Generations of families come back year after year for their flowers and vegetable plants, and many of these flowers and vegetable plants are traveled as far south as Cape Cod and north to Maine for planting!!
Town of Concord
The Town of Concord has a long agricultural tradition. European settlers came here to farm; they chose Concord for its land, water and existing Indian fields. The few local farms now left enjoy the support of the Town of Concord, the Concord Agricultural Committee, Concord Natural Resources, the Concord Land Conservation Trust and Minute Man National Park…but the most important support comes from the people who patronize the farms and support the local growers!!

Buy local for Mother’s Day
After a long winter, West Concord (Harrington Avenue especially) is happy to have Marshall Farms up and running again for the spring season. Diane and Ritchie Marshall have returned from their Florida stint and with help from son Rick and his wife, Nancy, and many other family members, the place is buzzing. Stop by this week and check out their variety of pansies and pick up a beautiful hanging plant for Mom — perennials, composting and mulch as well for Moms (and others) who are ready to get their hands dirty and their gardens a-blooming.

Marshall Farms
Marshall Farms over on Harrington Avenue, West Concord is in full swing for the fall season. They have many beautiful pumpkins in a variety of sizes and shapes along with large gourds, swan gourds, corn stalks, dried and fresh cut flowers and everything you could think of for fall decorating. They are also delivering top quality firewood. Fall veggies are ripe for the picking. Don’t miss the chance to taste some of their yummy heirloom tomatoes, quick before the snow flies. Speaking of snow, Marshall’s will again be selling Christmas trees this December as well as all the trimmings, including wreaths and bows. Mrs. M’s fall garden tips: Spread compost all over the garden and give a deep watering when possible to encourage deep roots to grow during winter. Cut back your perennials between now and November. Happy gardening.
